Real Madryt - Al-Hilal
Real Madryt - Al-Hilal
It was an electric game but Real Madrid have held on to clinch the Club World Cup. Al-Hilal showed real class to stay in the game and fight back from at one stage being 3-1 down. Moussa Marega and Luciano Vietto's strikes threatened to cause a huge cup upset but the European giants showed their class in the end to run out deserved victors.
There are just a few minutes remaining in this Club World Cup final clash and it really has been a crazy game. Real Madrid should now clinch a fifth title in the competition but Al-Hilal have really stuck to their jobs and have impressed with their fighting spirit.
It's not over just yet because Al-Hilal are daring to stage a stunning comeback as Luciano Vietto pulls one back with a brilliant chip. His goal comes against the run of play but the Argentinian does really well to stay calm in the face of goal and chip his effort over the keeper.
The Uruguayan was left with half an open goal to aim at and made no mistake in doubling his side's lead. Two goals inside the opening 20 minutes makes you think this really could be game over already for the Saudi Arabian side.
Ramon Diaz's squad rightly deserve to be in the final after impressive displays in the competition so far. Salem Aldawsari netted twice in their semi-final victory over Flamengo and is Al-Hilal's most obvious threat, while Kanno also provides a real goal threat for the Saudi Arabian challengers. 041b061a72
