Plot summary

The film revolves around a young man named Simhadri (Allu Arjun) who belongs to a small village located in the Himalayan mountains. He is the son of Narasimha (Suman), who is a loyal confidant of Neelakantham Naidu (Prakash Raj), a big factionist. Neelakantham has a daughter named Gangotri (Aditi Agarwal), who was born after a long time. But as per her horoscope, she has a threat from water. So Neelakantham always takes extra care of her.

From childhood, Simhadri stays with Gangotri all the time to keep her unharmed. They grow up together and develop affection for each other. But Neelakantham will never accept their union. He has a rivalry with another factionist named Bheemavaram Naidu (Tanikella Bharani), who wants to marry his daughter to Neelakantham's son.

When Gangotri attains puberty, Neelakantham decides to take her to the holy place of Gangotri in the Himalayas, where she has to perform a ritual bath for 15 years to get rid of her threat from water. Simhadri follows them secretly and waits for her there. They try to elope, but Neelakantham finds out and stabs Simhadri with a sword. Gangotri tries to commit suicide, but Neelakantham realizes their love for them and stops them. He then promises to get them married after 15 years. Simhadri survives the attack and waits for Gangotri patiently.
